Olga Lucía Quintero Montoya

First graduate of Control Engineering (National University of Colombia). Doctor in Control Systems Engineering from the Automatics Institute of the National University of San Juan (Argentina). His areas of expertise are estimation theory in non-Gaussian nonlinear systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. She is a consultant in different productive sectors in Latin America and a tenured professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the EAFIT University, where she is director of the Doctorate in Mathematical Engineering. Senior Researcher at Colciencias, he works internationally as visiting professor at the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University and at the Department of Applied Mathematics at TUDelft. His main contributions focus on the creation of algorithms and expert systems for various problems. He has developed applications in detection of emotions in biomedical signals and detection of patterns for security and defense. His current research areas are: Data assimilation, MDL for Machine Learning complexity, fooling and information simplification.
