Oscar Conde is a poet, essayist and university professor. He studied at Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he taught between 1983 and 2006. He has earned a PhD in Literature from Universidad del Salvador. He works as a professor at the University of Lanús and UNIPE, where he heads the Major in the Teaching of Language and Literature. He has been a member of the Buenos Aires Lunfardo Academy since 2002. He published the Diccionario etimológico del lunfardo (2004) and the book Lunfardo (2011), among others.
