She completed a bachelor's degree in psychology, as well as a master's and doctorate in social psychology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She belongs to the National System of Researchers level II. His line of research focuses on the issues of socialization and family, within which he has developed projects related to parental practices, risk behaviors in adolescents, problem behaviors in children and positive development of young people.
