Graduate in piano. Specialist in Music Education. Master’s degree and PhD in Music Education from the University of London. Among the teachers responsible for her musical training are the pianists Eduardo Hazan and Tânia Mara Lopes Cançado and the composers H. J. Koellreutter and Dante Grela. She trained for Alexander Technicians at the Constructive Teaching Center, London under the guidance of Walter Carrington. Currently, she teaches at the School of Music at UFMG in graduated and post-graduated levels. She also conducts research linked to two research projects: Corporeity and Music Education, and Music Performance Pedagogy.
