Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Master’s degree in Political Science from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil. He is currently studing a PhD in Political Science from the same institution and his main focus of research is the interaction between the State and social movements that are related to the urban mobility in Brazil. Medeiros is also a professor at the International University Center (Uninter) in Paraná, Brazil, lecturing courses in International Relations and Political Science programs. He has published many academic articles on subjects related to the Theory of Democracy, Collective Actions and Public Policies.
