Research professor and responsible of the Master’s degree Program in International Relations at FLACSO, Ecuador; PhD in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom; Graduate degree in Education from the Metropolitan University of Manchester and Master’s degree in Political Science, Philosophy and Romance Studies from the University of Bonn. Has worked as advisor at the City Council (Stadtrat) in Bonn and the National Assembly in Ecuador. His research focuses on Foreign Politics and Diplomacy with emphasis on Latin America and the role of small states in regional and global institutions.
