Roberto Hidalgo Flower: PhD in Administration from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and Master’s degree in Economics Business from the INCAE of Costa Rica. He is also a mechanical engineer and has twenty years of work experience in institutions supporting small and medium enterprises. Since 2004, he has been a guest lecturer in postgraduate and undergraduate programs at higher education institutions such as the Andina Simón Bolívar, Internacional del Ecuador, Tecnológica Equinoccial and Internacional SEK, Ecuador. He has published several books and articles indexed in lines of research such as the relationship between the environment and organizations, complexity and organizational theory and business strategies. Since 2014, he has been full-time professor of Business Strategies at the Business School of the Universidad de Las Américas, Ecuador.
