Professor of the Departamento de Tecnologías de la Información (DTI) of División de Ciencias de la Comunicación y Diseño, at the UAM, Unidad Cuajimalpa, since 2006. She´s a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Level I. Phd in Computer Science and Information for Society from the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Aplicadas (INSA-Lyon). She´s a member of the Academia Mexicana de Computación and the Laboratorio de Ciudades en Transición (LABCIT) of the UAM-Cuajimalpa. Her areas of interest include social network analysis, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), information retrieval and analysis and information visualization.
