Degree in Contemporary History from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. PhD in Social Anthropology from CIESAS. Researcher at FLACSO, Guatemala from 1998 to 2008, where he studied the country’s ethnic reality from different perspectives. Specialized in indigenous presence in urban environments, as well as in political mobilization and ethnic ideologies.
