Susana Herrero Olarte: PhD in Applied Economics. She has developed research projects with several multilateral organizations for development in America, Africa and Asia, including the European Union and the World Bank. Specialist in marginalization and exclusion, as well as integration and globalization. Author of multiple articles, papers and books, such as “The free trade agreement with the United States, a missed opportunity for Ecuador?” (2016). She is currently Professor of International Trade and Macroeconomics, at the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at the Universidad de Las Américas.
