PhD in Social Anthropology from the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology, 2003-2006. Member of the SNI. She completed her first post-doctorate at El Colegio de la Frontera Sur from 2007 to 2009 and her second post-doctorate at the Department of Latin American and Latin American Studies at the University of California in Santa Cruz where she was a member of the University Faculty "Borders, Bodies and Violence", 2011-2013. Currently collaborates with the University Faculty "Heritage, Territory and Borders" at the Intercultural University of Chiapas and Gender Studies Academic Group of Ecosur.
