Verónica Moreira: PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Specialized in the area of sports social studies, she works as a teacher at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA and is an attached researcher at CONICET. She directs and integrates research projects on topics of sports, politics, popular culture and mass culture. Along with doctors José Garriga Zucal and Juan Branz, she edited the compilation Sports and Social Sciences: keys to think about contemporary societies.
