Graduated from the Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics program at the Universidad de la Amazonia, in Caquetá, Colombia. Master and Doctor in Animal Husbandry, with an emphasis on Animal Production, from the Universi-dade Estadual Paulista, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is also a specialist in Gut Microbiological Function, from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, in Brisbane, Australia. Currently, she actively participates as a Junior researcher in projects related to animal nutrition and feeding in the Research Group on Animal Production and Health, linked to the University of La Amazonia, and in the Research Group for Sustainable Rural Development in the Tropics, linked to the Corporation for research and social, agricultural, technological and industrial development in the tropics.
