Adolfo Eslava

PhD in Political Studies from the Externado de Colombia University, a Master’s in Economic Sciences from the National University of Colombia; specialist in Social Evaluation of Projects from the Universidad de Los Andes and an economist from the Universidad de Antioquia. At EAFIT he has served as a senior researcher in the Colciencias classification; Professor of the Department of Government and Political Sciences; coordinator of the Master in Government and Public Policies; and director of the research group Society, Politics and Connected Histories. He has authored the books Experiment to decide (EAFIT, 2019), Politicians, technicians and communities (EAFIT, 2017) and The game of public policies (EAFIT, 2011); co-author of the text Values, representations and social capital in Antioquia (EAFIT-SURA-Gobernación de Antioquia, 2013); academic editor of Golden Rules (EAFIT-Proantioquia, in press) and Gold as Fortune (EAFIT-Colciencias, 2014); and co-editor of Territory, crime, community (EAFIT-Open Society, 2015). He has also published several articles and book chapters on issues related to institutional analysis, experimental economics, and public policy.
