Alma Paloma Mendoza Cortés

Consultant specialized in national security, Fuerzas Armadas Mexicanas, civil-military relations, intelligence, hybridization of war conflicts and private military companies. Bacherlor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Master’s Degree in Government and Public Affairs from the same institution and a PhD in Organizational Studies from Universidad Autónoma de México. She is a graduate of the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, National Defense University (Washington, D.C); as well as of ITESM, CIDE and INACIPE. She has been a professor at the Heroico Colegio Militar, the School of Intelligence of the Center for Army and Air Force Studies,, among others. She has been a guest lecturer at the Center for Higher Naval Studies and the Association of Graduates of the National Defense College. She is currently a member of the Center for Security, Intelligence and Governance Studies, Director of Analysis Coordination at M-B Consulting, professor of the Master in Security Management at Jenkins Graduate School, member of INFER Public (formerly Foretell Georgetown University), member of the Comité de Investigación de la Red de Mujeres en Seguridad y Defensa en Latinoamérica y el Caribe, member of Women in International Security, member of the Asociación Mexicana de Arqueología e Historia Militar and member of the Academia de Ciberseguridad y Derecho Digital.
