Carlos Fayard

Clinical psychologist for more than four decades. After graduating in Psychology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, he received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California. He is Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine in Loma Linda University, California, where he is also Chair of the Psychiatry and Religion Program, the World Health Organization Collaboration Center, and the Clinical Psychology Internship. Dr Fayard serves as a consultant to religious communities. Recently, he has also been an adviser in the area of mental health and spirituality interventions for the United Nations Development Programme and the United States Institute of Peace.
