He teaches at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences and is director of the Institute for Equality, Gender and Rights at the Universidad Central del Ecuador. Guest lecturer at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Universidad General de San Martín and the Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil on human rights, constitutional law and democracy.
