Christopher Vaughan

Since 1969 he has studied Costa Rican wildlife and its relationship with humans. In addition to working with Mr. Mario Boza in the inventory of the national parks of Costa Rica, he was a professor at the School of Environmental Sciences of the Universidad Nacional. In 1985 he co-founded the first master’s program in Wildlife Management in Latin America. He was its first director and also served as a teacher and researcher until 2017. He also co-edited the journal Vida Silvestre Neotropical between 1993 and 2000. From 2009 to 2014 he was Program Director of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest-Costa Rica.
