Grégory Deshoullière

He completed undergraduate studies in philosophy at Paris I Sorbonne and sociology at Paris V René Descartes. Master of Social Anthropology. He is currently doing doctoral studies at the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences in Paris. Since 2010 he has been carrying out his field work in the Shuar territory and collaborates in the project of recovery, digitization, transcription, and translation of recordings made with Shuar narrators in the years 1955-1975 by the Salesian missionary Siro Pellizaro. His research interests focus on ritual institutions, traditional discourses, uses of writing, Amazonian literary creation, and linguistic documentation.
