Jorge Ignacio Angulo Barredo
Social Anthropologist at the UADY; Master’s degree in Sociology from UABJO; and PhD in Social and Humanistic Sciences from CESMECA-UNICACH. Full time Researcher at IEI-UNACH. His main lines of research are: contemporary rural family studies; Migrations and international borders; and Social organization of indigenous and migration in Chiapas. He has been a professor in several postgraduate programs in national and international institutions. He has published chapters in books and multiple articles of his specialty in international refereed journals. He is an active member of several national and international societies and networks, both in his anthropological discipline and in themes on Migration and Family Studies.
