Jose Antonio Coppo

He has 40 years of experience in university teaching and scientific research, and has the highest category in the Incentive Programme of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Argentine Republic. He has given lectures at national and international congresses and conferences. He is the creator and director of services of Clinical Analysis and Electrocardiography, president of the Scientific Sessions Committee, secretary of Science and Technology and director of Veterinaria [Veterinary Science] magazine (UNNE – Universidad Nacional del Nordeste [National University of the Northeast]). He is also an evaluator of research projects and the referee of publications and categorizations of several universities. He has worked as the director of multiple research projects, in funding programs and as a mentor of over a hundred interns, PhD candidates and students taking a specialization. He has published over 250 publications in Argentine and foreign journals and given over 300 presentations at national and international scientific meetings. His research, teaching and outreach work has earned him several honors and awards.
