Luca Pandolfi

Luca Pandolfi (Rome, Italy 1965) is Full Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Pontifical Urbaniana University and also teaches Sociology of Religion and Intercultural Communication. He directs the Social Communications Centre in the same University besides being visiting professor in other Universities in Rome and in Latin America (Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, and Mexico). He has authored 4 books and several articles. He holds a BA in Philosophy and a BA and MA in Fundamental Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, an MA in Sociology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” as well as a PhD in Ethno-Anthropology from the same university. Since 1997 he is among the leaders of the SAL Onlus (Solidarity with Latin America), NGO which deals with international cooperation and service to Latin American migrants in Rome.
