María Dolores Salvador

PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad de Valencia (Spain). Her research work focuses on the development of new nanostructured ceramic coatings and the sintering of materials using non-conventional techniques. She has been a collaborator of the MICINN within the National Materials Plan and scientific assistant of the ANEP in the area of materials technology. Since 1981 she has been a lecturer at the Universitat Politècnica de València and since 2002 she has been a University Professor in the area of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering. She has taught more than 30 Materials subjects in different Engineering Degrees and Degrees. She has participated in Doctorate and Master’s Programmes in the area. She coordinates the “Master in Polymeric Materials and Composites Technology”, within the AIMPLAS Chair that he directs. Her activity is reflected in the direction of 13 doctoral theses, 12 research projects, 39 Final Degree Projects and 8 Master’s Theses. She is currently Vice-Rector of Employment and Lifelong Learning at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
