MA in Cultural Studies from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. She researched on language and human rights at universities in Geneva and Oxford. She teaches academic writing and inclusive language, and is editor and translator of the journal Texto y Contextos of the Faculty of Social Communication at the Universidad Central.
