Doctor and Master in History from El Colegio de Michoacán. Master in Social Anthropology from El Colegio de San Luis. Degree in Ethnohistory from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (ENAH). She completed two postdoctoral stays in Women's Studies at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana- Xochimilco (UAM-X). Member of the National System of Researchers between 2013 and 2017. Her lines of research are: history of feminism, history of women's political participation, female sex work from a historical and anthropological perspective, and history of the present time. Author of more than 15 articles and book chapters on these topics. Since 2011 he has been a professor at UAM-X, ENAH, Autonomous University of Mexico City and University of Tijuana. She was an online tutor for courses on gender perspective at INMUJERES between 2014 and 2016. She served as coordinator of the Women's Museum between 2017 and 2018 and as Head of the Postgraduate Program in History and Ethnohistory at ENAH between 2018 and 2020.
