Aedes from A to Z
Aedes de A a Z

The book brings together specialists from different backgrounds – a biologist, an anthropologist and two communication professionals – for an overview of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The work answers questions such as the particularities that make Aedes so present in our routine and the vector’s control and surveillance strategies. According to the four authors, the title offers the reader “a halfway between a running text and a glossary”, in addition to presenting a list of acronyms and technical terms. The five chapters are divided into topics -with short and objective titles- with specific approaches to Aedes.
