This instruction is specially designed for the Colombian Aerospace Force aircrews, in order to standardize the knowledge taught for an IFR flight certification, having as main reference the Colombian Airspace regulations and the characteristics of the national territory, whether geographical or climatic. However, it must be complemented with specific sections on airspace and aerodrome operation. The first volume is made up of three chapters, which address the basic fundamental topics required by a flight student to become a certified pilot in flight, under instrument rules: aeronautical decision-making, knowledge of airspace and aircraft structure. It is organized in such a way that it is easy to understand in a complete and explanatory way. The aeronautical content is adapted to Colombian regulations, without the need to refer to other manuals to consult these regulations, as it is a document specific to the country and to the national aviation of the State. Undoubtedly, this manual will form and serve the pilot as his navigation chart, in order to have an efficient and safe flight.
