This book is the result of a series of works by a group of researchers who have converged, for some years now, in a kind of seminar of interconnected debates on studies related to the future of the rural world in southern Cordoba. Here, different views, perspectives and constructs are displayed that make up and recompose the regional agrarian space of recent years, immersed in complex political processes. In order to make a clear contribution, the book is divided into a series of chapters that examine the past and present of the agriculture of southern Cordoba, divided into two parts. In the first, the region is approached, emphasizing the productive and social transformations through empirical analyzes and, in the second, the study of the subjects, representations, contexts and ideologies that make up the regional agriculture is emphasized.
