This book express the difficult selection of fragments and complete versions of only a hundred works of art among more than three thousand produced by Alfredo Gogna during the period between 1953 and 2008. We expect this to be the perfect excuse for admiring and getting to know the "impossible painting" of its creator. Julio Ferdman, on the other hand, accompanies the artist’s aesthetics providing a personal look that would have been approved by Gogna—who was suspicious about the specialized critic discourse. Ferdman, due to his penetrating and eloquent writing, provides clues that help to understand the aim of this book and to build other ways to appreciate the painting of Alfredo Gogna.
