Proposals, research and recent experiences emerges from the intense debate on education in Chile and from the need to incorporate views of this and other latitudes. The book has thirteen texts organized around four axes: fundamentals, research, museums, and experiences in the teaching of art. The authors, some of them considered key voices in the current discussion about these topics, contribute—from art production, teaching, art history, teacher training and philosophy—to the dialogue on the importance of art education.
