The vision of this book is to present the methodological technology of Axiomatic Design as a useful tool in the different areas of design, doing it in a way that its relationship with practice is understood through the diversity of knowledge in different branches of industrial application. The set of basic knowledge for the methodology is presented in a way that can be interpreted by students, teachers and professionals who are interested in introducing quantitative forms of project evaluation of data sources that are commonly considered qualitative. Within the basic profiles of the methodology, emphasis is placed on the path to decision making in the selection of the best designs, so it is intended to involve the reader in the use of axioms of information and independence as vehicles to support the difficult process of determining the model or models that best meet customer needs.
