In the approach to obesity it is necessary aspects of this pathology in order to provide an integral treatment to the people who suffer from it. These aspects are sometimes unknown due to the prevalence of the biomedical model of the disease.
This work aims to be a contribution to the academic field and a tool for professionals who want to be trained in the treatment of obesity. It is enriched with contributions from other disciplines from the level of nutrition, medicine, surgical approach, physical education and from the coordination of bariatric teams.
