An analysis of Baudrillard’s thinking about the meaning of the body mutations in the West and how through their traces we can understand the boundary or continuity between modernity and postmodernity. The author links the contributions of Baudrillard with contemporary issues such as AIDS, anorexia, transexuality, cloning, but also with other phenomena such as vertigo, computer viruses, terrorism, and stock market crisis, among others. Here is a controversial book that opens new questions to understand the world today.
