Bourdieu e Moscovici: fronteras, interfaces e aproximações

The book – Bourdieu and Moscovici: borders, interfaces and approaches -, organized by Maria de Fátima Barbosa Abdalla and including a preface by Jorge Correia Jesuíno, is the result of studies by Brazilian and international researchers, who make up the Rio Group and are dedicated to understanding the borders, interfaces and approaches between Serge Moscovici and Pierre Bourdieu: two French social scientists who have contributed to the reflection and debate of ideas and dynamics still experienced today in different areas of knowledge. The texts by the different authors present theoretical matrices and methodological paths that are innovative from the perspective of the processes to produce and negotiate meanings developed from the Bourdieusian and Muscovician theories. In addition, they provide significant analysis for those who are interested and concerned with the field of Education and its direction in these times of uncertainties and fast changes. It is, therefore, another proposal of the Rio Group to expand the possibilities of knowledge and experiences in order to continue seeking ways to face the challenges of today’s world.
