Chilean myths about the Mapuche People
Mitos chilenos sobre el pueblo mapuche

Written from the perspective of Chilean society, this book is an exercise in a self-criticism that is rarely exercised. The authors help us deconstruct preconceptions forged by generations that shape our relationship as Chileans with the Mapuche People. It comes at a time when different forms of violence continue to be perpetrated against Mapuche communities. For this reason, it constitutes a great contribution to the construction of new forms of relationships, less prejudicial and more intercultural among the different peoples and cultures that coexist in Chile.
