Cinema, bioethics, and professionalism is part of the series “Cinema in teaching of bioethics” and is the product of the Research Incubator Program in Bioethics and Biolaw from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Universidad del Rosario, which is part of the Research Group in Medical Education and Health Sciences. The purpose of this series is to provide health professionals from the field of bioethics, with tools for decisionmaking in different areas of professional practice in health care, using the common thread of cinema as a learning tool. Each chapter is the result of a match research effort between students and researcher-professors. This first book is composed of seven chapters which, through analyzing relevant aspects of the doctor-patient relationship, reflect the concept of professionalism and what constitute it.
