This book gives an alternative to the deeply rooted belief according to which death with dignity is what happens in an ideal environment, free from pain and other sufferings. This work develops around the thesis that establishes that a death with dignity is the culmination of a life lived according to principles that gave dignity. This principles cannot be bought with money, but are built through life, sometimes with imperceptible ease, other times with great effort. Whatever the case is, those precepts ease the development of the needed maturity, to arrive at the end of the road with the certainty that not even the worst illness can harm the dignity of the person.
