DISEÑO Y CONSTRUCCIÓN DE OBJETOS INTERACTIVOS DIGITALES. EXPERIMENTOS CON LA PLATAFORMA ARDUINO

In Design and Construction of Digital Interactive Objects, Arduino, a free software and hardware platform, is described as the "electronic clay" with which students and artists are making the objects of the future: from robots or automatic irrigation equipment for school gardens to smart lighting systems, home weather stations, novel musical instruments or vernacular adaptations of industrial products. This didactic sequence, accompanied by a theoretical introduction to the milestones of the digital revolution and technological literacy, invites us to go beyond the frontier of technology consumers to become creators. For this purpose, the book provides a step-by-step description of how to manufacture—with the Arduino platform and a good dose of creativity—objects such as traffic lights, a minipiano, a digital dice, and even a mechanical vampire.
