VÍNCULOS TEMPRANOS

The early interpersonal experiences between an infant and his or her main caregivers offer a unique opportunity for supporting healthy development throughout the life cycle. It is the quality of the interaction that provides the context for the healthy growth of the child. Both mother and father have conscious and unconscious representations, even before birth, which are reactivated during this stage impacting the behavior, thinking and affectivity between parents and children. This is why therapeutic interventions that address the relationship between the mother, father and baby are a fundamental tool for amending derailed attachment patterns, and the treatment of choice to prevent childhood psychopathology.
