This Handbook of Electroencephalography reflects the authors’ initiative to satisfy the need for a textbook to present the interpretation of EEG in a clear and simple manner, from the basics to complex topics. This handbook contains useful information to medical students, clinicians and neuroscientists interested in epilepsy, from basic principles to advanced ones, and includes topics such as identification and interpretation of an ictal electroencephalogram. Its goal is to improve teaching and understanding of electroencephalography.
