This new publication from the Mining-Energy Law Department takes place within the framework of the commemoration of 130 years of the founding of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, which we celebrate with the presentation of the collective work Energy Law in Latin America. This work collects articles from the most distinguished academics and professionals in the region, scholars of the energy sector. This book constitutes a new space for encounter, exchange and reflection, and aims to promote improvement in regulation, to spread knowledge about the energy sector in each of the countries represented by the different authors and to show and understand directly the current state of the hydrocarbon, electric energy and renewable energies subsectors.
