From their pedagogical interventions and their projects implemented in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, the authors weave a critical dialogue about the current situation of environmental education, not without generating between them, theoretical tensions, contrasts, questions and also, for whatnot, they rehearse some answers about the present and the future. It is therefore a book that contains the concerns so that environmental education in Latin America leaves some place of comfort (if it exists in the conception of some environmental educators) to shake their frames of explanation of reality demanding a new ontology open to political, aesthetic and hermeneutical experiences, to problematize its objects or its meaning, or to rethink new pedagogical and methodological problems that have arisen by integrating the participation derived from social mobilization in resistance and criticism of an Environmental pseudo-education that favors the private appropriation of nature.
