Changes and continuities that are presented in the contemporary feminine identity constructions are analyzed in this book, from the scope of sexualities of black, indigenous and white-mestizo women, belonging to middle classes, popular classes, and working classes; of peasant sectors of indigenous reservations and urban indigenous migrants in Cali, Buenaventura, North of Cauca (Villa Rica and Puerto Tejada) and municipalities of Toribío and Silvia; and of black transgender femininities in the urban context of Cali and Jamundí. These changes were addressed from a socio-anthropological and socio-demographic perspective, through a study case in the urban and rural areas already mentioned. The focus is on studies that work in the intersectionality of social sciences categories such as race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, social class, and generation.
