The works gathered here shows different readings of journalists, professors and writers around the person and the work of Gabriel García Márquez. The reason why the title of the book links the writer’s name to the literature-memory conjunction, is because the eldest son of the Aracataca telegraphist has taught us to contemplate in his plots, metaphors, and images, the meeting of realities and unrealities that shape the Colombian history.
