RODANDO LA PLUMA Y LA PALABRA: MUJERES Y ESCRITURAS EN AMÉRICA LATINA

What have women written and what do they write in the great homeland of Latin America?, where have their worries and their feelings gone by in the existential, intellectual and literary ground?. This book invites the reader to immerse in the feminine literary word of the subcontinent to discover it and enjoy it through three different, although related, essays. The first one goes through the thought of some Latin-American intellectuals, making visible a feminine thought that analyzes, criticizes, proposes and develops ways of knowing and doing in a continuous dialogue with the world of letters, politics, and social and educative practice. The second, ventures into a fictional universe of women afflicted by unreason, and anguish. Finally, the most detailed visit is to that creature that can be called as the SELF. By looking to themselves, the women share with us their misfortunes, their search for happiness, their mismatches in the environment in which they have to live, their solitude and encounters, their achievements and tears.
