This book studies the vision of the Catholic Church regarding human rights: how it has addressed these rights in its Magisterium. For this, it examines different Church’s magisterial texts on issues such as consciousness and the meaning of life, the freedom of people, the moral character of human rights, equality and justice, culture as an expression of the human, rationalism and the reduction of personal being, economy at the service of integral development, bioethics and ecology, among others. The work offers, at the end, a valuable analytical index, where it defines fundamental concepts within the framework of the subject studied, from anthropology to violence.
