This book shows the results of an exploration of what it means to be a university professor with disabilities, from the voice of the actors, from their experience and knowledge built, and how this becomes a resource to teach and transform. The experience knowledge with a disability becomes a challenge for all actors and levels: for people with disabilities and their families, those with different ways of being and living in the world, professionals and public policymakers. Therefore, for the author, it is necessary to transcend discourses such as deficiency, disease, and discrimination, even those of current inclusion, going from the path proposed by human rights to comprehensiveness, expressed in the positive valuation of the actors' experience, of their relationships with the world, of their knowledge built from different ways of being and being in the world.
