Introducción a la matemática discreta

This book is of interest to people who find in mathematics the universal language with which to explain the phenomena that occur in our environment and, of course, to those who see in it a gateway that leads to the search for scientific and technological development oriented knowledge.
It contains the topics that are usually taught in an initial course of discrete Mathematics at university level, as a foundation for solid academic background. Its main objective is to present the contents in a rigorous and attractive way. More than 300 examples are developed here and nearly 500 exercises are proposed, the vast majority with solutions.
In this fifth edition, new examples and exercises have been incorporated, and special care has been taken in the presentation of the topics, so that it is as explanatory as possible; even the topics can be developed in a self-taught way. A large number of solutions to the proposed exercises have also been included; in others, the final answer or some suggestion to guide towards the solutions. In this new edition, the readers will find more freshness and fluidity in the presentation of the topics.
