The main purpose of this book is to present Kaiowá society in a comprehensible way to readers who are not acquainted with ethnology technical discussions. The book’s first part brings information about kaiowá social organization, especially about family and extended family. Its second part tells about the humanization of space using ethnological data collected in previous researches, which are generally presented as cosmology, religion and social representation. Therefore, the book discusses issues concerning the theory of knowledge and the theory of kaiowá social relationship, which may be useful to researchers in many fields of study. The central themes of each chapter are developed with the objective to make clear how the flux of social life operates groups of practical and ritual knowledge intrinsically associated to the current kaiowá social formation.
