This book registers entries that describe and identify historical processes and objects related to the history of primary education in the country. It is the result of a collective project carried out by historians, sociologists, anthropologists and experts in Educational Sciences, under the coordination of Flavia Fiorucci and José Bustamante Vismara. The period covered ranges from the end of the 19th century to the beginnings of the 21st century, although some previous processes are also included. The book also takes into account short-lived though highly significant experiences. Key Words in the History of Argentine Education does not contain terminological definitions, but essays accounting for the historicity of the terms concerned. After browsing through several entries, the reader will realize that, regardless of the whole set, the tone and density given to the topics under analysis are in the hands of each author.
